I think I'm in a better mood today. I think I'm semi-depressed. Not in the I'm so glooomy and I want to jump off a bridge depressed, more in the practical I have no money, winter is too long, I have no friends way.
Now, I'm not looking for pity with the I have no friends comment. It's just a fact. It's not my fault, nor anyone else's. Well, I guess it is technically my fault. I've moved from IL, to MA, to NY than to WI all in the last three years. I had freinds in MA that I knew before movong there, but made no new one's in the year I was there casue I worked in a Doctor's office with a buncj of 60 year olds. I made friends in NY, but that's becasue they were my boyfriends high school friend's girlfriends. Now we are in WI. I work at a tattoo shop. People who come in aren't looking to make freinds, they are looking to get hurt. Ot be made beautiful, whatever. I guess there is this group of guys that come in who we (and I said WE) are friends with. We did go over to there house and watch a movie one night. BUT, I personally ahve no friends. I have NO girls that call me up and say, 'hey, let's go out for a drink' or let's go see a movie, or let's sit at home with a bottle of wine and watch sex in teh city, or some such.
I've only been here 4 months. I forgot how hard it is to make new friends when you are, older and not in school. I'm a fairly open person. Perfect strangers feel comfortable telling me there life story, and I the same to them. I just can't figure out how to do it. How to just scope someone out, and say, hey you seem like you can be my freind, let's go get a drink sometime. How do old poepl make new friends? I need to stop moving.
Buuuut, besdies that. Life is grand. I'm poor, I'm freindless, but at least I'm in love. (thank you for pointing that out)
So...life isn't that bad....
I wish I knew the moment I turned from a Cock Eyed Opptimist into a pessimist.
This too shall pass.

It's not always easy to make friends when you're younger or in school either. I'm sure you'll meet some people up there. If not, you can always come down to Madison and meet the SG people down here.
