I didn't get the job at West Ed. It looks like I'll be spending most of my summer in Fort McMurray. *sigh*
Today I'm going to see the other play my brother worked on for the Alberta One Acts Festival. While it will be awesome to see his work and to see him I don't really want to tell him his oldest brother is a big failure. For reasons i don't understand the kid looks up to me and I hate feeling like I've let him down.

You're further along then I was at your age. At 23 I was just moving up to D.C. and hadn't worked on a single production outside of my college campus. As long as you're still putting yourself out there to work on shows, you'll be doing just fine. One thing I've learned since I started in this biz (God, did I just say "biz"?) is that it takes a long time to build up a resume/.
That being said, if you ever want to come down and check out the theater scene down in the Capital of the Yankees, there's a couch for you and a party to be planned.
