I am going to be slightly critical here but it is the truth about the way I feel.
Okay, so I understand that people played the classic video games. Believe me, I grew up on NES, SNES, and then PS, PS2 and now PS3. I pick-pocketed PC Games from OfficeMax when I was 16 and I was big fan of video game exchange stores and still am. I wouldn't call myself a " hardcore" gamer but I have been around the block more than once. I played the classics too, my friends, and I feel no need to list them. If we ever became close friends we could talk about that....and this brings me to my point.
All the early 20 year olds and such who want to list classic games that I saw the actual release dates of and beat and sold a long time ago make me effing pissed. What the hell are you trying to pull? Are you trying to look cool and trendy? I personally, do not give a damn about your attempts at fitting in. I really do not care about the games of the past anymore. I came, I saw, I friggin conquered and I moved on to bigger and better graphics.
WHAT GAMES ARE YOU PLAYING RIGHT NOW? What games that came out in the past 2 years are you playing? I could give a shit less about the 32 and 64bit crap that we have put behind us. I want to know what you are mashing buttons on NOW. Maybe you should stop trying to be cool and retroactive and bringing back the dinosaur cartridges and start picking up the pace and keeping up with the current gamers because honestly, the young gamers of today are going to kick your ass at pretty much everything.
The gameplay is faster paced, the players are smarter, and the graphics are clearer. STOP PLAYING THE OUTDATED SHIT BECAUSE IT ONLY MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE A LOSER, A POSER, AN ATTENTION SEEKER, AND A WHINY HIPSTER. When are you going to wake up and smell the future that's coming from your high performance console's cooling fan?
