Estate sales suck. I got to the house at 7:45, I think. The sale didn't start until 9:00. Five people were already waiting. Obnoxious people. They all started in at me. I told them no one got in until I my help showed up. They kept at me. One woman was busy telling me how good her money is. One person asked me if everything was marked. I said "no." She said, shocked, "it's not?" I told her I was a bit off since my mother died. She closed her mouth and they all shut up. While I was in the house they kept at me. Peeking in through the porch window. Whining about the rain. I said, "Didn't you guys drive here in cars?" One kept waving money at me, like I'd see the money and head right for her. That might of worked if I had been a stripper! Finally Robin showed and I let them in. One woman actually apologized when she left later. I had a man park in the middle of the street, blocking traffic both ways, and try to come in the house. I blocked the door and told him he couldn't park there. He said he was going in just for a minute. I said, "no you're NOT." He went and moved his car. How I hate the people who think they are privileged and can do whatever they want. I could go on, and on, and on. I have to admit it is fitting memorial. My mother was one of those people.

Interesting approach your mom had, though. Well, you can always try your German on me. And if you need any help just contact me!
So when did you move to the US then?
