I really havent updated for a long time have I ?
Right, some time this month, can't really remember when, I went to London to stay with my bezzie Courtnie.
One of the days was just perfect, we went for a nice long walk around london
Before we had even gotten out of Victoria Station, I managed to spill coffee all down me
And so, for the rest of the day, had to walk around with a pee-like stain on the front of my dress.
Since I am a little poser, I got Courtnie to take a gazillion pictures of me, posing on different things we saw on our walk....
but then..
SAAANNNNTTTAAA!!! we saw Santa and followed him all the way to the christmas markets
Then we went to have a look at the Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park...just a look because we didnt have enough money to go in the end....
We had some lunch in some place, and spotted the most awsome pub name in the world
The spread eagle! innit!!!
We had a look in Harrods, and Hamleys...they where sooo busy tho because it was a Sunday
Then we went winter bowling, which was awsome. I totally kicked Courtnie's ass!!!
I had another really good day with Alfie too. He came down to have a look at a masters course in art in London, so I met up with him when Courtnie was working. We had a nice little walk around too, and visited some really great small art galleries. I saw some really great stuff actually. It seems that the gothic is very trendy in the art world atm. My favourite was Kate Street's "little death" exhibiton.
Alfie did take pictures, not sure where they are atm actually, so I can't upload any....and this is the only pic I can find on the net of her amazing funeral wreathes
There was an amazing one that was black, in the shape of a heart. It's base was a massive honeycomb, covered with black flowers, and raven feathers, the honey dripping seductivly down each petal. It was infested with sculptured bees and little painted bird skulls darted inbetween the flowers.
It was awsome.
After the galleries, we went for a pint, then moved onto Camden market. Camden is awsome this time of year. As soon as it goes dark, everything lights up - and Camden Market is like something out of spirited away!!!!
Here's me and the old chap back at Courtnies
Eating left over roast dinner.
and sitting like good childeren under the christmas tree.
That's my new tat btw. It cost me so much money that I am down to my last tenner in my bank.
I am soooo skint now!
After London I went to see my brother sing on his christmas service at school....and now I am home. I have contracted a rather nasty chest infection from somewhere, so now feel like absolute crap.
Ah well, the christmas shopping is done, I am doing christmas dinner for the family, which should be fun...so I am generally good despite illness.
