Should I or should I not update? That's the question!
I will and a photo one at that.
Now I have the time and patience and inspiration. God help me if the computer crashes half way through!
So what has the past 2 months brought me.
First off a break from SG which was well needed. I was spending too much time one here and it was a real withdrawal to come off here too. But suddenly I had time on my hands in the evening and more importantly I lost the urge to check and look every 2 hours which was just a pain. I hope I can maintain this once a day check, it's enough.
Like promised I've started on new ink. It's completely different to what I've got so far but very nice, I think. It's a more spiritual piece and it's going to be very realistic too. Like a real flower on my stomach. The pain was 100% bearable and really no where near as bad as I thought, being such a delicate place and sensitive skin. I've had one session, 2 hours, 1 more 3 hour session to go, supposedly.
I still have one work in progress, started last year. I really must finish that too. Have you seen it yet? It's on my inner arm. Different artist and style!
I've been on holiday to Portugal. The main idea was of course to go to the 7 day psy-trance festival Boom!. But we stuck a luxury 2 day before and 1 day after in the prestigious Marriott hotel in Lisbon, just to give ourselves some creature comforts and be well rested and stuffed to add to the holiday feeling.
I didn't like Lisbon very much, it was really beautiful, but almost too beautiful. Like a museum, no life, just pretty houses but no one living in them Maybe we were just in the wrong place. We had a great time though, walked and walked, the weather was beautiful. There were hills and terracotta houses spread out over them, I love hills so much and Holland is so dreadfully flat. We had a peaceful 2 days and the hotel was so posh, the poshest place I'd ever stayed in. We had a bell boy, private service at our breakfast tables, our room was larger than our apartment and had every thing in it including a steamer for your suit etc and a bed you could sink a meter down into ... just layers and layers of feathers and white silky sheets. We had a room on the 12th floor and could see for miles across Lisbon and I was in awe, literally. Walking around the lobby covered in tattoo;s, haha, people must have thought we were rock stars!
The festival was a totally different kettle of fish! 7 days of non stop music, fun, laughter, beautiful people, love, spirituality, dancing, dust, mud, beautiful hills and lakes, washing in said lakes, because the ques for showers were toooo long, old friends/new friends/ young friends/old friends. Age doesn't matter, some of my best friends are in their 50's and some are in the 20's. There is absolutely no ageism in trance-land/great vegan food-vegetarian food/ biological food. Everything there was environmentally friendly, solar energy/wind energy/ bio fuels/ groceries from the locals to not leave the carbon footprint/ even our daily droppings were turned into compost for the farmers!
40.000 people for 8 days partying and leaving the beautiful nature reserve behind as if nothing had ever happened, that's the way to do it. I wish everyone could be so aware of their surroundings. Anyway enough ramblings, here's some pics:

So that was my holiday.
Next was I am now co owner of the best/only rel alternative club in Amsterdam. It's going to be 5 years hard work to pay off the debt and blow new life into the place, it has been going down hill the past 5 years or so since new rules came into place. But we have loads of new idea's and are really motivated to make it happen. If you ever come and visit Amsterdam be sure to check out Korsakoff, come and meet me
Next was I took the dreads out and died my hair rather close to my old original hair color. I have been dieing my hair since I was 15 so...it's taking some getting used to. My hair color was known in Wales as welsh blond, which is a medium copper redish color. This is me last night before work:
Next news is I have a baby. Yes it's possible to conceive and give birth in 2 months Nooooo it's a kitten silly! Shai!
So any other news....well yes. The past 2 weeks have been rough.
I had precancerous cells removed from my cervix. And I had a lump in my breast which turned out to be a cyst. But both very worrying and I'm glad that's behind me now. That was kind of the reason I'm back on SG though. Being home all day is kinda boring! So every bad has it's good as you can see!
So final news....well....I'm joining a Buddhist center around the corner here as of October. See if my interests (deepened by the generous gifts of Grayness are going far enough to start practicing more seriously.
I'm planning a journey to the greater Mekong region this winter. Vietnam/ Cambodia & Laos. On my own, yikes! Finances, or lack of them, is the only thing that will stop me going even though I've read that it's not always safe for western female travelers alone. But I do not believe in being guided by fear. South East Asia makes my heart beat faster, it's for ever calling me and no little yellow men will stop me
So what else what else what else. Urrrmmmm, I'm selling stuff. Lot's of stuff. Getting rid of years and years of stored up gothic/fetish clothes/shoes/bags/hairfalls/jewelry etc etc etc. Out with the old make space for the new is my motto. Some things are hard to let go off. But I guess those are the items I should get rid of first. I'm not letting them go expensive but not cheaply either. It feels good, sending stuff away that will make people happy where as here they've just been lying around for years clogging dust and energy.
Came back to see Joy has left. She was one of my fav's. She was at Boom too and I watched her perform a great hoolah hoop show, with 5 hoops. Such a talented-free spirit she is.
Well I'm dreading more and more to post this thing, hope it's not too much info.
I'm thinking about trying another set soon. Any idea's for me? What kinda style would you like to see me do?
Oh, and before I forget again.... Somebody lovely here on SG bought me 2 Tool cd's of my wishlist and they never arrived. I've tried to contact Amazon over this but because I'm not the purchaser I can't get any info. I'm so sorry for whomever bought them and thank you very much, so sorry This is the first time something has been purchased but hasn't arrived. I guess not all postmen are trustworthy.
So now I am signing off and praying this longest entry ever will load. Don't expect another too soon.
Love you's hugz
