For the last few days I've been in a running altercation with the sea gulls that are nesting in the large vacant lot behind my place of business. Sea gulls are very territorial critters, and during nesting season they're even more obnoxious than usual. Lately they've taken to dive bombing me at regular intervals, though they have yet to actually hit me.

I'm a very mature, capable, secure person.

Apparently I'm really awkward. I don't really know what to do with that except hate on humanity for being difficult and incomprehensible.

Since last night I've read several dozen wiki articles on Gnosticism, the early Christian church, demons, Roman Catholic excorcism, Djinn, monsters from various cultures, the history and cultures of the writings of JRR Tolkien, Catharism, and various other topics.

It's a lot to think about.

I just made the ugliest arrow ever. The fletchings are so mangled it hurts to look at. ugh.

But it's my first arrow ever. Hopefully the next one will turn out a touch better.

I also made a bowstring. I don't even know what the twine I made it out of is, but It hasn't snapped on me yet. This is for the fiberglass recurve...
