Everyone dies. Everything changes. Anything you will achieve is Impermanent. Death is immediate.
Accumulation is pointless. First, accumulation will not provide you a longer life, or an immortal life. Secondly, accumulation will use up a great deal of your time and serves only to fuel itself.
Life is suffering. Life is lonliness, isolation, pain, or hardship. Life provides no rewards. It will never get better. It will never change. Life will always be, in all places and at all times, suffering.
The only way to avoid suffering is to die, which most people fear, or to cease totally in desiring, which few people can accomplish.
Why am I going to college? Why should I have a job? Why would I ever desire to bring children into this miserable place?
Why should I attempt to build anything? Why should I attempt to destroy anything? If nothing can be changed then what can be gained by attempting change except frustration and a general sense of hopelessness and futility?
