See that little person down there on the raft? He's doing very good at keeping his little raft together. He checks every day to make sure the cord binding the logs together is still in good condition. Every evening he trims the sail, checks his lines for fish, and sets out his rain traps in case their is a storm during the night. The last thing he does before going to sleep is to set up the sunshade that will shield him from the deathly rays of the baleful eye of fire if he doesn't wake up til mid morning.

You see, he's doing a very good job of keeping up his raft, but he's not doing a damned thing to fix his position and navigate back to a civilized area. He's just drifting, day to day, and not really going anywhere.


My favorite thing to listen to at the moment is Ambient Chill. The best way I can describe it is Jazz as realized by Darth Vader. It does all the same things that slow jazz does, but it's more machine now than man.
