I am a winter creature. At any temperature much past 70 degrees I begin to be very uncomfortable. I can take straight dry heat, but any humidity makes me miserable and lethargic. Winter, on the other hand, I can deal with.
Now, you have to understand that Minnesota overdid it with winter. It's too cold most of the time, and for some weird reason there aren't any oceans in the area so you don't get much snowfall. Even so, it's cold, all plantlife is dead or at least not polluting the air with pollen, everyone starts wearing heavy coats (I have a thing for coats), and, best of all, it isn't as dark at night.
If there is snow on the ground and there are clouds in the sky then, generally, there is enough reflected light in most civilized areas that it is never really dark, whether day or night. And I love that.

but on the other hand I hate being so bundled up you can't move freely inside your own coat. I feel like the Michilan man.
