I runa non profit receording studio project in Portland called Ossicles.

I also make things in my little wood shop. Butthe garage recently sprung a roof leak so I have top do some repairs to it to be able to keep being craftsy. I also rebuild old classic cars, just finished up a 1965 car that looks very sexy now. Hope to take it to BurningMan

The G-Train isn't even a real train, its like the little engine that could. Rumor has it they're doing away with that train for good (only a rumor but still).

From my personal experiences it sounds like a bad idea ... he sounds like a weirdo ... but u would know better then i do. I jus suggest u have a backup plan, so if he does turn into a weirdo on u, u can get out of there and find someone else to stay with. You might get there and find out that hes got a shrine of u or something ... freaky ... hehehehe ...

Thank you for sharing! And thanks for thanking people!

I like your mid century retro stuff best..But I think that's just personal taste..I've never been a fan of "dirty" design.

Um...thanks?

I like your work, I don't know enough about to design to criticize.
what aspect of the film industry are you interested in?

urrrggghhh..... puke

i feel like such a teenager for listing this, and embarassed as well. but just home from "brunch" and we managaed to polish off 8 bottles of champagne, 24 shots, a 26er of vodka, and a bottle of wine.

again puke

what a way to start the new year. what an idiot i am!

mrdelicious:
I looked at the link you sent me, hard to tell 'good or scam' from that. I did notice it is much cheaper than the Los Angeles Film School. What exactly do you want to go to film school for? Depending on what part of the industry you want to get in to, there may be other options.
so you drank your new year's brunch, I hope there were more than 2 or 3 of you.

the offbeat covers are my favorite - and the be good tanya's are crazy good so I like dat too

is it possible to purchase one of your t-shirt designs - der, let me know!?

'tis all quite good -------------------------> those handbags are a fashionable means of carrying stolen handguns across town, or the necessary rotten fruit to throw at little old ladies who get in your way on the sidewalk - utility and style!

no I'm a still photographer, and a film school dropout. I'm becoming interested in film again. who knows.

I like your purses.

I ended up staying at my brother's in Sacramentothrough last night. I took some advice you had given me and did art and baking with my nieces. It was cool. They seemed to really enjoy it, and I got to spend a lot of quality time with them. Maybe they'll refer to me as the cool uncle.

No ideas sorry.... I had a good x-mas, i listed some of the stuff i got in my journal.

How bout you, you get lots of nice stuff??

i almost bought a condo today. very strange. not quite the lifestyle i ever thought i would be entering into of free will. luckily, have been bogged down with financial details and lawyer stuff, and have been given a little time to reconsider. just seems like it might be time to start investing instead of throwing rent away. but at the same time, going so...

that picture is a fashion photo from the 60s by melvin sokolsy. i don't know much about him, but i always thought it was a striking image.

what's so bad about owning btw???
i've been obsessed with the idea of building a prefab home for some time now. i feel the same way as you do about rent, but i'm just not sure if i can really afford what i want to own.

methinks ownership in Leash's hands is a state of grace

Aw no!! Not at ALL! I was so out of it when I wrote that. It was WONDERFUL advice and i got nine hours of sleep last night. I feel better than I have in about 2 weeks. Sorry for the spelling mistake and thanks for the GREAT advice! biggrin
remuemenage:
I was appalled when I discovered that my fail proof method of avoiding parking tickets was ignored - nay flouted by the egregious university police (whose salaries I underwrite)

is it not a universal law of nature that once ticketed - a car is then free to park anywhere?

is double parking ticket indemnity justice?

I think not
