So, I guess I should update as quite alot has happened since the last time I did.
The Bad:
My nephew rolled and totalled his car. He is diabetic and had a severe insullin reaction while driving and wound up hanging in the seatbelt upside down. He and his dog are all right, so it's not too bad.
My grandmother died.
A guy I worked with, liked and had a lot of respect for died. He was riding his motorcycle when two pickups collided and pushed him into a girder on a bridge.
My cousin's daughter was climbing up some rocks when she fell backwards and landed on a rock breaking her back. She is now a paralyzed from the waist down.
The Not So Bad:
I have gotten a couple of records I wanted off of GEMM.
Iris is now fully vaccinated and we can take her where ever we wish. So far, the only people to have shown interest in her have been looking for a "fierce and protective pitt bull" so we still have her. I will be SO glad when she is out of the everything is a chew toy puppy stage.
I am now the proud owner of a Pentax *ist DS and I love it. I just need to figure out how to resize pictures to be able to post them.
We will be heading down to San Luis Obispo, my second favorite place in California to scatter my grandmother's ashes. Even though it's a sad occasion, I am still looking forward to going back there.
I took my Scout down to my nephew's to help him work on his house and it made the 200 + mile round trip just fine(save for how much I spent on gas).
We had another bat in the house, though it was easier to get back outside than the last time.
