I went out tonight and am just a wee bit tipsy (it is Friday to me). Normally, that wouldn't be a bad thing but I wish I was a light weight so it was cheaper to catch a buzz. I told a friend of mine that tonight that I wish I had her body frame when I was drinking (she weighs only 100lbs and is about 5'6") as compared to mine (307lbs, 6'2" with a genetic predisposition to alcoholism therefore increasing the tolerance). We had a contest tonight. She drank a shot and a beer and was tipsy. I had 7 beers and 2 shots before I felt just a little warmth in my cheeks. That shit gets expensive. It sucks.
But I digress. I originally wanted to write my next journal article about how much I wish there was a larger suicide girl-like population in my area. I am so frustrated with the scene around here. I want to find a group of people with two or more similar interests of mine ( I have a wide range - martial arts, ghosthunting, wines, occult, comics, science fact, dark art, movies, classical music, literature, politics, folklore, criminal justice, "heavy metal" music, psychology, intellectual pursuits, etc.). Instead I run into people who only have one of these interests. For example, comic book people (in this town) only want to talk about comics 24-7. Who would win in a fight between Wolverine and Superman. Who gives a fuck? It is fiction, although enjoyable to me and many others, it is based on fantasy. Another example is the people who go ghosthunting. They do this every weekend and do nothing else. I am extremely interested in the paranormal and occult but it does not rule my life. I do not look over my friends family vacation photos looking for "ghosts". I belonged to a "paranormal investigative society" for a while. I got pissed as they kept bring me pictures of several items and asking "Do you see the face in this picture?" No, I see a reflection in a window of some trees, asshole!!! The more I write on the subject, the madder I get so I will drop it for now.
I apologize for my rant. I continued to drink during the writing of this entry and got myself all worked up. I guess I am just looking for my "pack" (hence the pictures of wolves in my profile). But I am not bitter.
