If you waste one day at a time, which is easy, cuz you can waste 2 hours with no effort, you can waste a week easy. Add in a distraction or two, AKA responsibilities, and there goes a whole week.
(Un)luckily Dec is gonna be a crap month for work.Xmas and New Year's reduces one paycheck to 4 work days, and Jan is a slow month. Either we get called off, do maintenance, or -yuck- get sent ot another building. Then I wait for the tax refund to catch up.Some year I'll learn...
I missed half my days last week cuz the wife got leveled by the stomach flu, so I stayed home to help with the kid. Now I've called off enough they can possibly fire me. I pointed out to them they could, but they won't. They 4 guys short already. That didn't work in my favor. I'm not too worried. Getting fired would be a "God closing a door, opening a window" type thing. I could get regular hours, have a real life. DO something with my life....
