water is good for you drink it at least 8 times a day, that has been driven into my mind and that is always in the back of my mind so DRINK 8 GLASSES OR WATER OR YOU WILL DIE
I have to drink like 20 glasses of water a day because of the medications I take. You know the part in Me Myslef and Irene where Jim Carries mouth dries out. Thats what will happen to me.

did you know that the 8 glasses of water a day thing is a myth? It was in the news a few months ago. A prestigious medical journal published a paper where some guy was studying how the body uses water.
He was curious as to what proof there was of that thing. When he did the research he discovered that its a misunderstanding of a federal document.
The body uses and needs about 8 glasses to process the normal amount of food consumed in a day--but the thing is that you already get that water in the food you consume. You eat a hamburger--theres water in that hamburger. you eat french fries--there's water in the fries. You see? Water is good for you and you should drink a lot BUT you don't HAVE to drink 8 glasses.
Your thirst quench will kick in long before you're in any danger of dehydrating.
