As 2023 comes to a close, I decided to look back at some of the stuff that stood out during the year. One thing is for sure, and that is I keep busy.
In January, my first thing of the year was going to look at the Rose Parade floats after the parade.
February was memorable for having snow in Southern California, even if it was just for a couple of hours; it was quite the experience.
In March I went to see Rival Sons and Greata Van Fleet. It was a good way to close the night after the comic con in Anaheim.
The Bob Marley One Love Experience in Hollywood was my favorite thing in April. I was in the mood for it on that day, so I walked out feeling good.
This particular minor league baseball game in May was my favorite thing because it was bit of a family night since I went with my parents and great-uncle.
The thing in June wasn't an adventure at all, but it was being home most of the month after a rodent decided my car's engine was a home. Thankfully it was under warranty, so fixing it was free.
I got to see Arsenal play Barcelona in July. There was no way I was going miss my club when they came to town. It was even sweeter that they won.
The stand out thing in August was my Drake concert adventure. From barely making into to the show, to being right on time when it started, it was one heck of a night.
September was all about the LAFC/Inter Miami match so I could see Lionel Messi play in person. It was pricey, but worth it.
Sphere in Las Vegas was probably the thing in October that stuck out the most. The Darren Aronofsky show in there used the space well.
The Black Keys/Guns & Roses show got November going. I couldn't go wrong seeing my favorite band paired with rock legends. I even made it to the LA zoo that day before the show!
Luna Luna is the thing I keep coming back to for December. LA Comic Con was cool, but the exhibition is more to my taste.
Let's see what the next year has in store. I am sure there will be some things and people I have wanted to meet and experience.
