It was a full day for me yesterday. I worked half of the day in my office as planned, but I cut out at noon and went to the LA Zoo. I hadn't been to the zoo since I about 10. I made sure to see the highlights. I can't recall the last time I saw an elephant or giraffe in person! The zoo was pretty empty so it was a nice mental break.
The zoo trip came about because of my real reason for being over there, which was parking for a concert featuring The Black Keys and Guns & Roses at the Hollywood Bowl. The Black Keys were who I was there to see. Guns & Roses is one of those bands I can mark off of the list as saying I have seen them. Slash is carrying that band these days!
