The last few days has been spent constantly on the go. I can use some time off from my time off! I am planning to take it easy in August, so we shall see how that goes.
Last Wednesday, I went to see my favorite soccer team, Arsenal, play FC Barcelona here in LA in SoFi Stadium, where the LA Rans and Chargers play. My club won 5-3, so it made for a great night! Sitting in the Arsenal supporter's section made it even more fun!
On Thursday, I drove up to Las Vegas. I was there to see Lucha Vavoom, but Thursday was a free day. I went out to Hoover Dam and took The Whole Dam tour. I hadn't been out there in about ten years. It is a different set up now.
On Friday, I went to Omega Mart in Area 15 in Las Vegas. The place is kind of weird, but fun. It is an off-kilter grocery store mixed with an alien theme.
Friday night was for Lucha Vavoom, which was my point for going up there. It was very different to see the show in an another venue.
I came back to LA on Saturday and went to the Basquiat exhibit again. It was something to do before the big boxing match that night.
Yesterday, I went to watch the WNBA. The LA Sparks were playing the New York Liberty. Breanna Stewart, the star of the Liberty is the best player in the world and was the best player on the court.
After the game, I drove to the beach for the sunset. It was quite comfortable sitting there.
