This first week of November has been full enough. On the first of the month I went to a book signing with Jemele Hill, the former ESPN anchor and current columnist with The Atlantic. She is most widely known for calling Trump a white supremacist and having him rant about it.
I spent almost each night this week at the movie theater. Notably, I watched a Korean film, Decision To Leave. It took a bit to get going, but it was decent. Yesterday, I watched The Banshees of Inisherin. It has an odd premise where a guy decides out of nowhere he doesn't want to be friends with his best friend anymore. It is offbeat, but not bad. I found myself crushing on the actress who is the female lead.
After the movie, I went to the beach for the sunset. It was a bit chilly, so summer is definitely over.
Once the sun set I headed to the women's volleyball match at USC. I hadn't seen them in person this season. It was a fairly routine win over Arizona State University. The adventures continue.
