UPDATE: My dog is cute in a side show carnival sort of way and not a pedigree commercial way. Sort of like he would be cute if he belonged to the Addams family but not my family.

Hey party people!

Well I don't really know where to start so I guess I will start at the beginning.

Friday: I drove like hell to get to the Biltmore Hotel. Car overheats in parking garage. Me think, who cares.

Kicked it old skool style waiting for echo. My friend Roque works upstairs from the Biltmore. He stopped by at lunch to give me a shout out. Makes me feel more at ease.

Knocked on wood around 2p.m. and 5 minutes later I see echo coming through the doors to the lobby. I grabbed my stuff and went to greet him.

Nervous like crazy.

It was so worth the wait. He is hot as all hell.

The second I see him, I felt like I had known him forever.

That night we ate and then met a few of my friends for drinks (Claudia, Roque and Robbie) and also met a cat named smokey from seatlle. Good times at the Biltmore! The waiter absolutely hated us. I guess it is not custom to lay out on the couch at a piano bar and yell "hey smokey" across the room while "girl from ipanema" is playing, but fuck it!

The rest of the weekend consisted of us kickin' it together and going places to eat. Claudia tried to put on the peer pressure and get us to go out on Saturday but we just ignored that shit.

I won't say that there were no misunderstandings the whole weekend and that everything was "peachy keen". There were a couple times where we just didn't agree on things but he is super sweet to be so patient and work things out.

I too am gonna' be patient and see where things lead us. I would be crazy not to dig him. And even crazier to lose patient and not wait for him.

He is worth the wait a thousand times over.
