ok...im back from hiding. im slowly getting my music studio together. i have all the software i need. all that is basically left is a new midi controller and a new mic and i'm pretty much set. itll be such a relief to be able to finally start recording. this process has been so slow. i plan on having at least 5 songs recorded by the end of the summer. time will only tell on that.
i have had such an awesome week though! i got to see NIN twice last weekend! thats right. 2x! it almost feels like i had never been to a real concert before then. it was definitely the best show i have ever been to. i didnt think it was possible for me to like NIN anymore but i guess i was wrong.
it was just fucking amazing. i got to be right up front and center for the 1st night. the 2nd night i chose to sit in the balcony to get a different view and to rest because the night before was pretty brutal. there were times i couldnt even breathe because it was so compact. i cant wait to see them again! also the dresden dolls were really great too. the drummer is the best one ive ever seen live. it was insane. the weekend was perfect.
the weekend before i went to weezer for a friend. i like them ok but thats about it. anyway i would tell you about it but i barely remember any of it. all i know is that i woke up with bruises all over and a cut on my forehead. my friends said i fell into a security guard and he about threw me out. i do remember one guard telling me if i crowd surfed anymore i was out. i guess i was doing it a lot. but goddamn it is a show! and i did it one more but it was the last song so he was in the process of kicking me out but i said i was leaving. its strange to me how you can still somehow function and not remember any of it.
and i also got a new car yesterday! its a 2005 nissan sentra. im going to miss not having a car payment but i really needed a new one. my old car was falling apart. ill try to post some pics sometime soon.
my account is up probably going to expire next month. im debating on renewing. i havent decided yet. i guess we will see. of course, it will probably just get automatically renewed and i wont notice. that would figure. lol.
right now im burning ministry cds and so im out!
