Oy..
Had a fabulous time in vegas; now I'm so tired I'm not certain if my brain is on or not...
Got a little sick last night; not drunk-sick, just like the kind of mysterious headcold that sometimes you get while travelling/in crowded faraway places for a long time (often has happened to me in Vegas) but when it started coming on, I was really drunk, so I was pretty wonky for the rest of that night; woke up feeling really zapped... Fortunatelly I had friends with me to drive me home LOL
And 2 of the companions I was in Vegas with are future doctors: one's pre-med and the other's in med school; so it was a very interesting experience: every time we were trying to decide what to drink first or when to start drinking or what to do/eat/see/walk to before-during-after drinking, there started up an extremely educational discussion about the affects of alchohol in combination with other external influences and chemicals on the digestive tract and nervous system... I think I accidently recieved a crash course in elementary human anatomy in my efforts to get plastered this week
..It's great the way my friend Erin is so enthused about biological science; just going to the grocery store with her is an interesting experience... For instance we'll be looking at hair products, and I'll be trying to decide between 2 labels I've never tried before because I'm trying to find something new to use on whatever new color my hair is at the time
and she'll look on the backs of both bottles and she'll know all about all the ingredients that are listed there, and she'll give me a little rundown on what the effects of each of the hair-products should be, given what she sees listed there; and she'll know what it means that they're in a particular order and how that'll make a difference, and although I don't usually follow the lesson, I can dig being given random advice on what hair products to try out; and usually her advice is right

thats similar to what happens when i see live bands play. i can tell you the guitars they are using, what mics, what bass, what amps, what pedals, what size the drums are. i think when you're around so much you can spew off loads of info about it.
