payday! today is the first time i've had a four-figure balance in my bank in, probably, over a year. maybe two or three. of course, as soon as the gas i bought two days ago shows up, i won't, but it was a good way to start the day. of course, it all goes towards the aforementioned debt, but at least i have it to go there now.

got a haircut today. the patter for the past two years is the more time i spend describing what i want, the less it actually resembles my request. so today, a test: the lady just kept asking, "you want it like this? you want to shave the sides? everything she asked, i said yes. i figure that if it won't turn out right, why bother fighting?
it's not bad.

cleaned out my car today, too. found a pair of my roommate's socks that he asked me if i had two months ago. guess i did have them after all. fuckin' weirdo for looking for a particular pair of socks anyway. they're socks.

so i'm noticing my mood fluctuates with the amount of money i have in the bank. i may not be a republican, but i'm damned sure an american.
