Six Months Short of Five Years: I have officially canceled future payments to SG, and will be gone from this place on 24 May. I like the communities here, and I think it's a well made, designed and maintained site. But I've never been an actual part of it, sadly. I've reached out, but three connections in five years is meager. But that's not so bad, considering I joined mainly for the sets, and stayed mainly for the tattoos and the artwork; friends come as secondary in my idea of the site.

The main deciding factor is that after June, I'll be without internet I figure my MySpace will be good enough for keeping in touch. I'll check it once a week, while living back home, and then once a month, perhaps, while I'm off, exploring life & the world.

I think the things I'll miss most are the sets, though. I enjoy the sets that have a certain spirit behind them, and I enjoy the fact that over time, the spirit's still there. People change a lot in a year, and even more over five of them. Girls like Reagan (formerly Nixion), and Quinne are like old friends when a new set comes up. Maia's changed in the relatively short time that she's been here. I really hope I see another Severity set before I go. Maybe even another from Echo, if I could be so lucky.
