3. Being disrespectful to those who received the Bodhisattva vows before us.

I really haven't got much to say about that one. I believe that every single person deserves respect, and I believe that general self-esteem around the world would increase if we each treat others -- all others -- with respect. I see only good in treating another person with respect, and I cannot see any inherent good in treating anybody with disrespect.
