THE SLOW DESCENT INTO MADNESS AND OBLIVION ENTRY

This sucks.

This *really* sucks.

Went for an interview last Thursday morning. That's *nearly* a working week ago... will be at around 6pm BST. It was the first thing I did last Thursday morning. At 9:30 AM I went for the interview.

Now, I have heard absolutely nothing, zip, de nada, bugger all. Not yes, not no,...

THE GLIMMER OF HOPE ENTRY

Well, went to Wales for an interview Monday afternoon, agency rang Monday morning: 'They have to postpone till Thursday morning'. Fine. Home cooking for three days, no other interviews planned.

Agencies ring. Interviews are arranged for tomorrow (Friday) morning and Monday afternoon...

Suddenly remember, promised to visit a friend last weekend who is now expecting me this weekend and the...

Well a weekend later and I`m somewhere with Rudi.

Matty has just chased some dicks from the park and is a ......

Very well written. I really care about the characters and love all the boy/girl stuff, which I think you do really well. I like that it has got a bit more raunchy and I like the choice of scenes to bring out the story.

I like Kirsty too, and her closer than friends friendship with Matty.

As I go further there is less to comment on concerning style ect. Its just that encounter I`ve aready mentioned, and I think a comment from one of the characters about how there aren`t supposed to be any left in England would sufice.

So congrats and I`ll let you know more when I`ve finished.

THE DESTITUTION ENTRY

Yes, my friends, here it is. I was only half joking when I said that I'd be back in about a week watching the ghost of destitution loom over me. Last weekend I was in a position where 10 people had rung me up about various jobs about 6 of which described me to a tee. Over the week another 7 or...

I love a happy ending. Now, for further cliffhanger-tension-drama, tune in to the interview itself.
johnnyforeigner:
Hope you're ok dude. I know how disappointing stuff like this can be. I got all these e-mails saying stuff like "h0tt yung chixx want 2 fuk u now!" and when I replied, all they wanted was my credit card number frown wink

What a weekend!

Friday went out with a very close friend and got utterly slaughtered on cheap (but delicious) cocktails and then fell asleep in a drunken heap...

Saturday headed over to The Ship to meet up with you amazing SG London people and had an ace time with our ever genial host Munch, long time site associate Hermes, the flamboyantly pink t-shirted...

Good to have met you.

heres an idea for the bit with me and matt organic-

im somehow leading a resistance against the zombies and the main character is being sheltered by us, but he's not ready to carry on the quest alone, so I have to take him to our guru, matt organic (who IS actually a martial arts expert, I used to be ok, but Matts the guy) who trains him to be at one etc...
I have an idea that works in my head, coz im a poet, but i know how pretensious that can sound, when a zombie is about to kill me I say, 'can I just stop you there, coz i once wrote a poem about this type of situation if i can recite it for you.' so anyway i recite it and zombie gets into it, giving the protagonist enough time to slay said zombie.

let us know what you think
hermes:
Vampires is definitely my thing, will let you know about the book as soon as I've got time to go through it. BTW you want me to have a stab at proofing/editing it for you to iron out anything you may have missed? wink

Moving into position as a middle-aged unemployed waster (it's only a matter of time) I spent last night supping Lebowski-esque White Russians in a cute little Vegan Cocktail Bar I know (Soya Cream baby!). Then I played Burnout 3 vs. my sister until the early hours and wished my victory over a 17 year old girl had been more decisive so I had more to...

I feel like I should be rested. But I'm not. I don't think I will really relax till I kow what's coming next.

This is not really where I pictured myself on my 30th but it could be worse, I could still be working for a bunch of stupid pigfuckers...

Ha ha.

I want a life. And I want one soon. Ra! surreal

EDIT: Now it's...

Well good. That gives me something to look forward to. You should join the Aries group. Gotta get the numbers up. I am too lazy to check to see if you have already joined so if you are a member...oops my bad.

Answer to previous question about what to do if your job is basically taking the piss. Resign.

Then, apparently - despite the fact that you are their most seior member of staff knowing the people and the systems better than anyone else at the company (including their new Wunderkind) - they will say:

Oh that's a shame.

And give you nearly a month and a...

I just finished looking at your review of your mates book (mentioned left) and your site in general.

I must say mate you humble me. I think its crazy you did an 11,000 word review on it. You seem to have many projects on the go and still make time for reviews like mini disertations.

I`m writing myself and have been working on the same project for so long it seems and I`m only on chapter three. I get in from work at 8pm Mon-Fri so it doesn`t leave too much time and there are still relationship commitments to satisfy.

HOW DO YOU GET ALL YOUR SHIT DONE?

I know I devote too much time to game playing but I prefer it to tv and it helps me relax.

So sort me out will you? biggrin
silveronthetree:
Glad you`ve got some interest. A break from work will be great. Keep well.

Why haven`t you sorted me out yet! wink

A belated Happy Easter unto you all.

I spent the weekend in Bath staying at my best mate's house. We were organising all of our old college materials for the production of our final cut Double DVD set. In amongst all our stuff were copies of many of the other students productions which were about 60:40 good stuff to dross. Fact is many of our...

Yeah I heard O12 wasn't so hot, kinda avoided it on purposes. I bet Meet The Fokkers (which I *have* seen) is worse though... tongue

Tough questions, I`m 33 and still have no answer.

Keep well, and get on that creative train.

You know when you sometimes jokingly remark about 4pm on a friday that you'll be glad to get home and 'recover' from the week.

I have now actually come home and had to recover from the week for real and it's no fun. By the time I got round the security alert at Oxford Circus, after discovering that they'd moved Forbidden Planet without my permission,...

Mate I came down to that pub at half seven, walked around twice and realised I didn`t really know what you looked like, although I had studied your picture for a bit before leaving work, when I got there I just couldn`t pick you out.

It wasn`t a problem as it was sorta on my way home from work so don`t feel bad or anything. biggrin

Next time i`ll get your number or something.

Keep well, hope you had a nice one.
