no pics from the New Year yet, as soon as I do I'll share. All I can say is that I almost ruined the party cause I toasted the brisket I promised everyone, I was baking chocolate chip cookies and left the oven at 350, slid in the brisket and layed down to watch a movie, so the apartment is smelling really good, then I'm laying there thinking, it shouldn't smell this good this fast, I go to the oven and nearly stat crying, my $30 brisket was ruined...Jess was consoling me and trying to encourage me to go back to the store to pick something out as a replacement...so we went, 3 bottls of champagne, 1 for the night and 2 for imosas and pizza during the bears game, we also stumbled upion corndogs, yes we brought 18 of those delicious stick dogs to the party and they were much appreciated only after some kind hearted jeering, we were at Chicken's, he was kind enough to host the party, shortly after boogeying on the dance floor and dropping some baloons Jess and I had to go over to Jame's place where my circle of gay and lesbian friends were at, but it was about 6 city blocks away and when you are in cshoes like Jess's that won't work, so I ran with her on my back for about half the walk. we got there in no time but I was huffing quite heavily. we were there for about 20 miniutes. said our hellos and gave our hugs, then decided that we should retire, the walk back to Josh's was out of the question and we wanted to just snuggle up and call it a night.
pics to come, I was bedecked with the velvet crush jacket and a huge orange rose, tis a NYE tradition for me to have one enormous gaudy flower, it's usually very torn up by the end of the night
