Do you ever just sit there and genuinely appreciate your life and everyone and everything you have in it?
I’ve realized there is happiness and joy in appreciation of what you have, and not thinking about what you don’t. All the way down to feeling the sun on your skin, birds singing away, and drinking coffee in the mornings. Life can be cruel sometimes, and I think it’s important to count all your blessings to keep a positive mindset.
I have come across a handful of amazing people in the last few years who have helped remind me that life is short and you should live it for yourself, while also being the best version of yourself that you can be. To me, this means: unconditional love, kindness and compassion, benefit of the doubt, communication, open minded, and acceptance. We are always evolving and growing and it’s important to keep people who help you become a better version of yourself close to your heart. It is the most beautiful thing to grow and blossom with others while watering each other.
@jadestoner is my soul sister 🥰 She has compassion burning in her soul to help others, but not afraid to tell you how it is. She keeps it real for me while having a huge heart. Her dedication to her work and modeling astounds and impresses me everyday. A beautiful body and soul all around.
@kashaa This beautiful soul has been through so much, yet still sees the light and brings sunshine into others lives. She is the ray of sun shining through a cloudy day. She has been on a weight loss journey and has worked so hard, and is totally killing it! She has shown me that hard work and keeping positive can do wonders.
@kimmiestorm is an old and dear friend back from Highschool. She was always so kind and loving. We have recently reconnected and showed me that soul sisters will always find their way back and it will be as if no time has passed. Such a golden soul and kind heart that I just thoroughly enjoy my time with. She has taught me to try new things and introduced me to making plans that were spontaneous and adventurous.
Michael Rose is my amazing tattoo artist and dear friend. He has taught me to not take life too seriously and that you can choose to do the fun things and still get everything you need to do done. He has shown me to live life to the fullest and still be responsible. He makes life fun even during the rough.
Brian King is my main photographer and dear friend, as well. He welcomed my friends and I with open arms and a loving heart. He helps others see the good in themselves and makes it their strengths. He has helped me through anxiety issues in public without judgement, and has always been a pleasure hanging out with. From D & D all the way to bird watching, he is a kind soul who has taught me to accept myself as a whole.
Thomas Ricks is a soul that I intertwined with immediately. He will forever be the soft spot in my heart. He has also taught me to live my life to the fullest and see the good things in life. He is the entire sun shining over the world. He showed me that you should embrace every part of yourself and never hide your goofy side from the world. He brings many laughs and smiles, and is caring and supportive when needed.
Last, but not least, My Hubby 🥰 We have been through thick and thin together and come out stronger every time. He has humbled me in way I didn’t think possible, has taught me it is possible to forgive and still love unconditionally . He has been here for me in ways nobody has ever before. He is an amazing father and great husband. I have never felt more comfortable being my true self and has opened parts of me that I never knew were there. Through thick and thin, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
So this is a reminder to appreciate the people who have made a positive impact on your life, to live life to the fullest, and to take on the little things that are overlooked. Life is a confusing and sometimes painful experience, so it’s important to count your blessings and appreciate the good things. 🥰💜
