I'm very inspired by the 60s and 70s and I like to use elements inspired by those eras in my photos. I definitely think my hair in these pics are a nod to the 70s ☺️

The utopianism of early modernist design. From Ruskin through to about the early 60's architects and other designers, as well as their patrons and the broader public, really believed that they could change the world for the better for all people by changing the built environment we inhabit. They tried so many divergent approaches. They had some terrible follies, but also some monumental achievements. Then we stopped believing that there was any real meaning in design, and without that grounding it all became fashion. And that makes us all poorer in every way. I try to carry those principles today. The failures never meant we should stop trying; it was always supposed to be about experimentation, so the failures are only there to hone and direct future success.

@fullfeeling I wish I saw this sooner . I completely agree with you. Architecture especially has become just about the bottom line and maximum profit. It is such a shame! Unique architecture should not be a thing of the past! Hence why Grand designs is such a good show 🙂
