Well I've been pretty sick and still am. I had a migraine last night, and I've got a headache hanging on today. I don't know what is really going on, but until I get my health insurance fixed, I can't find out. So, priority number one: Get health insurance fixed. Number two is to rest. And number three is to have a little fun, so I am going to punk nite in Troy on Saturday. I really liked Legbone, and I'm looking forward to hearing the other bands for the first time. I'll be very tired Sunday though. And probably Monday too.
Hopefully by Monday I will be ok'ed to go to the doctor and we can get a handle on what is going on with me. The nurse who called with my results said I'm "all jacked up." *sigh*
Anyway, not much else is new. I was looking to get a piece of leather hand-tooled for me, but I can't seem to find the place, or possibly, its in someone's house. Either way, it has to wait a bit.
I'm listening to Trey Gunn, who is this prog rock guy who plays this funky Warr Guitar thing. He's an amazing musician. I like prog rock alot, in small doses. Hell, I can even listen to Liquid Tension Experiment when the mood strikes. Tony Levin plays a couple of tasty Stick solos on the second disc that I just love. I've been enjoying stripped-down music like punk lately, but my background is in prog rock and jazz.
So am I revealing being uncool? Ah well, I always did tend to think myself right out of the party. I guess I should go comment at other people's journals.
Later,
Tim.

Have I mentioned yet to you that you have fucking FANTASTIC taste?
Tony Levin is my best friend's dad. I've known the fam since I was in 3rd grade. He's a totally rocking guy, I adore him.
