Well people, I skipped class today because it was snowing so damn much, and I've been doing the things I can't normally do when I've got a foreign language class to do as well. Trust me, I wouldn't be commenting on your journals if I had German to study. Either that or I'd be really anti-social when I did comment out of guilt for not hitting the books.
I also commented on this weeks livejournal entries. Something about ducks co-existing with Tyrannasaurus Rex, and some things about the usual conservative homophobia (They think spongebob promotes gay lifestyle choices) and the usual quizzes and jokes and crap.
Commented on all the new journal entries. Seems that people are into doing memes here, and its pretty fun. I like to joke around with people, and I like answering questions and recommending music.
I'm the type of person who sets out to get into something and then researches it exhaustively.
Since I mentioned them twice, I just want everyone to note that King Crimson really does rock. Even if they insist on playing in two or three time and key signatures at once.
Alright, so here's a question of my own. I was talking to Madison about her black hip tat which I really like, and it was done at 252 Tattoo, which turns out to be in Cleveland. Since I don't have money to go to Cleveland, I'm wondering out of the three cities within a days driving distance, Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton, who do you think the guy to go to would be? I don't mind paying a little more, I want quality. I've got a little government money to throw around for the next few months, so give me an idea.
The tattoo is going to be color, it will be some variation on two foxes at a mirror image of each other. It will be roughly notecard size I would imagine, and it is going on my shoulderblade.
It will be my first tattoo, and I'm looking forward to it, but I am hopelessly lost when it comes to artists and such. Cleveland just isn't in the cards. By the time I paid to stay overnight and buy gas, I would have no money to buy the tattoo.
Anyway, I need to branch out a little here. I'm assuming that attendance at a meet-up would have me meeting some people to friend. I'm looking forward to the Fox and Hound and all the Dayton people coming out. I'm trying to bring cool non-SG friends, but they may not be able to come out.
Overall, I feel better with that German class dropped, and even though I am a little sick physically, my mood is basically positive. Its coming down to brass tacks on some of my funding, and I need to get some help on getting those things taken care of before next month rolls around.
I am going to try to take a few pics of things with my webcam and post them in an album here. Sooner or later I will get someone with a digi camera to get some pictures of important stuff in my life, Mom, Dad, my brother Nick, Janie, my cat Lucifer, my apartment, my car, different friends like Troy and Jim, but that may take a while. In the meantime you can see some picures of me in front of the computer.
I thought about getting evocam and making a feed into the SG site, but I decided that it would be fairly boring for most people. I think it would honestly be easier if people simply got on iChat AV and did video conferencing with me. I'll continue thinking about it though. My bandwidth is larger than it once was, and I followed the directions at the help site, so maybe it will become worth it at some point.
Alright don't forget, tell me a good Tattoo Shop in the area of Dayton Columbus and Cincinnati. Help a noob, lol.
Tim.
