Soaring on the currents of true freedom,
I glided towards heaven lightheartedly,
Full of life and freedom.
But as I burst from the clouds,
The sun's rays struck my wings.
The waxen feathers wilted like my confidence
As searing truth hurled me downward
Into the sea of self-blame.
Sinking into the depths,
I cannot see how false happiness
Was better than deadly truth.
What a great and horrid night.
I finally passed my apprenticeship last night and became a full-fledged Dom. I cut loose and had some fun. Got flogged, got to work on the electric... it was great, til the evening was winding down. Joe was having fun tormenting Debi, his sub. Stone had a bevy of women around him. Belle and Emmitt were flirting shamelessly. Which left me, holding the sign up clipboard, feeling like the least attractive person in the world.
I hate that feeling.
