So I took my first progress shot on the weekend. One month apart from the first set. I find it so much more motivating when you can see the changes and I'm glad to see there's some. As it's only minor, I thought there was no change at all and seeing as I'm not changing anything about my diet I wasn't sure if that was preventing progress - but alas! I was wrong, which makes me happy because I love food too much and I have no self control.
Feel I need to change my routine up now though. Started focusing more on upper body strength, now I want to focus more on my core and getting that flat stomach I crave. I won't completely forget about the other parts of my body though. Everything gets a good workout, which is important. I find I opt for stairs and skipping the tram more often now too and all the little bits help. Would be nice to have a gym buddy though I suppose, someone to chat too or give me a little pep talk when I'm feeling lazy. I am surprised I've stayed this motivated for so long on my own though. Quite proud really 😁
