So enough about sniping on the site ! Next Wednesday I'm going to see Opeth in Philly & I'm starting to get excited !!! This'll be only the second show I've gone to since I moved here ( saw Porcupine Tree a couple years ago ) . I used to go all the time when I lived in South Jersey cause it was a much simpler time in my life . I have such great memories of seeing bands at the Troc . Seeing Pantera open for Exodus & Suicidal Tendencies was one highlight . Most of us at that show had no idea who they were , let alone if they were any good . Really opened my eyes that night . Others I got to see there include Napalm Death , Sepultura , Dark Angel , Excel , GWAR !!! ( 3 times ) , Nuclear Assault . More then I can remember at this time . The two main highlights though were Carcass ( they were just so good , sounded exactly like they do on cd ) & seeing Slayer doing a warm up tour for their Seasons in the Abyss shows . That was & is the single craziest show I have ever been to . I doubt anything will ever top it .
