Further adventures in pc viruses . So , I got home today & as soon as I opened IE , the virus shenanigans restarted . I ran my virus scan & it found 3 which I promptly let it kill . I tried IE again , but it keeps doing the same thing . Instead of going to my home page , which is Yahoo , it goes to this page prompting me to buy a different virus protection package . After both of us tried noodling with it & getting nowhere , I decided to try downloading Firefox again . I've now done so & so far so good . It seems that what ever the malign thing is in my PC , it works off of the tool bar in IE . So hopefully by using Firefox I can avoid it . I had Firefox before , but after a few months it got very buggy for some reason . That was why I was back to IE .
Anyway , if you go to a site on the net & it prompts you to download a direct X application , think before you do it . Cause that's what got me .

I am not really interested in any classes. I more or less just want to use their equipment and work at my own pace.
