My friend Fiona will be back in Darfur in a few hours time and it will be at least another 4 months before we can meet again.
The Wildlife photographer of the year exhibition at the Nat. History museum yesterday was excellent. & was well worth the admission fee. No idea what it cost: she paid for that; I bought the gateau & coffee as my part of the bargain The pics on show were mindblowing in their perfection & attention grabbing-ness & worth catching if you are into that kind of thing.
Tonight my Darfur-bound friend's sister arrives from Dublin though, so there will be another round of 'catching-up' tomorrow or Friday; before she wings her way off - to NewZealand in her case. / If she wants to do the wildlife photography exhibiton too, that's fine by me.
And she will be returning to London in May, possibly for keeps. Yay for that.

wildlife photo exhibit sounds cool. maybe i'll try to get out there to see it. i used to go to an exhibit every weekend, but then i just started to not be able to find the time (i was busy everyday of the week and i worked sat too), or be too exhausted by the time sunday came.
its nice to be catching up with friends. have fun!
