I suppose I should update my journal ......
Had a good night last night - well a good weekend, tho' hasn't finished yet ...hope I haven't spoke too soon? Last night: fireworks at Ally Pally & then back down the piccadilly line to see Gin Panic. The fireworks were fantastic & went on for ages. When the biggest star shells went off you could feel the shock waves. Awesome.
I know there were a few other SGUK peeps at the show but I didn't really make up my mind to go until it was too late to let anyone else know. Then slowly trundled back down the hill to Wood Green with 1000s of others to get to the gig. I missed a couple of songs but plenty left to enjoy. Pity about the blown P.A but they managed perfectly well without (who needs a silly old P.A anyway ) Friday was Tinyblob's meet at Camden and Drexel's last in the UK, for now at least. Unfortunately I didn't get to speak to him. But a good night with some great people - as always. Although I am now noted for not saying much (damn my self-consciousness!) I do feel 'at home' with you lot and it is only a matter of time (or alcohol) before I stop caring and you can't shut the voluble fool up.
Have a great Sunday.
