My mother told me earlier that the elder of my two sisters was admitted to hospital for tests on Friday - a recurrence of a problem she had last summer - seemingly with her middle ear - which was affecting her balance - she collapsed whilst at work. They didn't find out what the problem was but she didn't have any further episodes . On Friday it happened again so she was readmitted. She collapsed for a third time on the ward on saturday night. At least now she has medically trained witnesses, rather than having to describe the symptoms, but it's worrying.
