Today was fun, a good day indeed. In fact, I am just getting home after dropping my friend off.
Went up to Austin to shop for new books and vinyl and cds. Half price books was having a 20% sale on everything in the their stores so I hit up about two of them and got this:
(On vinyl):
Mahlers Ninth Symphony
Tears for Fears Songs from the Big Chair
A Bauhaus ep
And another cello/piano record
(Books)
Alex Greys Sacred Mirrors
Domo
I then went over to waterloo and picked up this:
Bad Brains Rock for Light
The Ex the singles collection
Don Caballero American Don
Cibo Matto super relax
Beans shock city maverick
After that, I walked over to book peoples and saw that Neil Gaiman is coming soon to sign his new bookYAY!!! The fan boy in me has wet himself.
When I was done with the shopping I decided to check out a movie. I was going to see The Baxter when a friend of mine returned my call. She wanted to hang out with me so I took her to see Just Like Heaven at the south drafthouse. The movie proved to be quite entertaining and the company just as enjoyable.
We went downtown to drink some more and she received a call from a friend of hers asking her to come down to San Marcos to hang out with him on his birthday. I told her I would drive so she didnt have to worry about anything and he would probably drop her off at home later today.
Now I am home and ready for bedwith a light reading ahead of me, maybe. Good night, peoples, see you soon.
