got to see the "forbidden zone" on the big screen at the downtown drafthouse. Richard Elfman, the director and danny's older brother, was there to introduce the film and have a little q&a session after the movie. Was nice to hang out with becca and jen and watch a good cult movie. we are going to try to see the ron english documentry, Popaganda, when they get back from their trip. Birthday is coming up in a few weeks, what am i going to do? everyone is going to be gone and none of my out of staters are going to come visit...boo hoo me. i will figure something out.
Went and saw the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy today and it was a decent movie. Visually spectacular and the acting wasn't bad but i just wasn't feeling it, know what i mean? Just seemed short and they sped through the plot the way a nose passes over coke. And i remember the books being funny, don't you? Maybe there is a director's cut out there that is packed plentiful with giggles and bellowing gut laughs. Don't get me wrong, i enjoyed myself. maybe it was because i forgot my towel and the question to my answer.
