Having had my account closed when I was in France, I am now back up on the site.

France was incredible. I went with a group of students, and it was just amazing. We flew into Paris, got a connecting flight to Marseille, and spent the next to weeks working our way up, finally flying home wfrom Paris again. Although my French is mediocre, I made my way through, taking most of my tours in French, speaking French in restaurants, etc. I felt very sophisticated, indeed,

Being home is such a let down. True, people smell better and there are free refills for drinks, but that's about it. I miss the freedom and friendliness of France. I mean, I am American, and for the most part I got nothing but charity and goodwill. Why can't people be like that here? Besides, it was 60 in Paris, and is 93 here today. Gah. >_<

I am also very stressed to find out that there are no good shows worth going to in the next few weeks. The only thing I really have to look forward to is my probable arrival at Nocturn next Wednesday.

Oh, and need I mention Harry Potter coming out on Saturday? That's all I'm going to be doing for most of Saturday, with the possibly exception of going to my friend's Halo 2 party. Wahoo.
