been working all weekend to clean up a database that someone else built and left in ruins. This has been my life for the last 36 months. I'm sick of it. Once, just once I want to build a database from scratch, the right way, and get paid for it. Ergh. Anyways... I've spent way too much time working this weekend and I'm nowhere near being done. So frustrating. I want my life back!

Oh, and you know what sucks...? I'm actually building a reputation around the state for being good at resurrecting messed up databases. So most of the calls I get from potential new clients are all the same. "We've got this database that isn't working,... the old dba team flaked out... it needs to be either rebuilt or repaired... Can you start yesterday?" Ergh
