I can't believe this... I'm buying a house. Every day I wake up amazed by this fact. The whole thing is supposed to close by the end of the month. I'm horrified by the responsibility and totally psyched by the opportunity. I don't know anyone who's lost money on a house. I never thought I would do it, but after a few years living in boston I started to feel really really stupid for paying rent. It's just throwing away money. A lot of money. And not that Eugene is all that expensive, but it's still at least 6K a year for a $500 apartment. That's a lot of bread. I could have a D2x or a seriously nice trip around the world for 6K. Anyways... ramble on.
