Hmm I promised you images of my trip, and still I am getting no where, but here's one, thats right one image, for a start.
There is no escape Mr. Bond.
Thats right I went most the way round the world, saw all sorts of sites, and upon visiting a historic water driven mill saw in Germany's black forest maturel thought "hey that would look great if I climbed on there and pretended to get chopped"
Ahh yeah. More to come.
In other news, busy weekend for me.
Spent friday night at a hockey club quiz night fundraiser, a very cool night, despite our team doing rather poorly, not that we didnt know the answers, it was more of a too many cooks spoil the quiz score, type scenario, I did however walk away with a bottle of merlot so who am I to complain.
Saturday night was my best mates engagement party, thats right, more friends getting married. Was a great night, had a few Hoegaardens, and some great food, and celebrated such a sweet cute couple, very nice.
Then there was surfing, and boy has it been a long time, yet the ocean will always feel like home, today it just also made me feel how lazy and unfit I have gotten since the last time I went surfing, which sadly was way too long ago. I headed down with my dad, as he had the arvo free, and we caught some nice little breaks til the sun went down. I you ocean.
That pretty much brings us up to now. Work tommorow, I want it to go fast, so of course it will go slow, but I am eagerly awating next week's gathering and the visit of Jibaili from across the vast Australian continent.
I am going to bed to read Haruki Murakami's A Wild Sheep Chase, if you haven't read any of his work, check it out, that is if u like to read. He makes poetry out of day to day ordinariness, with a shot of random absurdity. Seriously worth reading.
Til next time, xo

No matter how long it's been since I've gone surfing it always feels like home. My favorite part of the day is when I am on my way home from work and I hit the bridge that takes me back on to the island and the salt air hits my nose...it's like an instant calm washes over my body and mind...there is nothing like it..glad to see you went out with your dad, those are my favorite time, sitting out in the elements with your family..peace quiet and much goofing around. we are planning a trip to coasta next summer me my dad and my hub..I can't wait!!!
PS. Watch your balls.
