Dreams, Dreams, Dreams, I've realised the reason I'm always so tired, even on the rare night that I get a full 7-8 hours sleep, none of it is spent resting, as I vividly wonder through the confusing and random tundra of my sub conscious. I wont go into too much detail, partially coz I can never remember any concrete details, and also the details remembered are that wierd, and widespread that I wouldnt know where to start, needless to say, I may be busier in my sleep than I am in my waking hours.
Not that they havent been busy, the original plan for my job to advance to a position in the city, has been lost in the fray that is corporate uncertainty. And so I have been hunting out positions, and possibilities from the far corners of my great state, the most appealing being an AM position, in East Vic Park, (for the non perthites 5 minutes out of the city) and the least appealing being Albany (perhaps 6 hours south of the city). Hmm so fingers crossed for Wayde, and a position that doesnt see him moving hours away from his comfort zone, and civilisation as he knows it.
In other news... wait do i have other news... umm, only 50 something days till i go to England, with a week or two in Germany/Switzerland. I am looking forward to it, but also hesitant. Much more saving still to be done, and with such a long flight a head, an iPod must be purchased. Or maybe I'm just using it as an excuse coz i want one.
Anyways, today at work, a waitress from the japanese restaurant I frequent came to do her banking, and attempted to have a friendly chat. Sadly, with the noise of the bank, and the communication barrier between her japanese accent/language, and my general poor command of any language, the conversation was a little confusing to say the least. I heard perhaps every third word, and am not sure If I agreed to make sure I try the lunchtime special, or come to her birthday party. I have no idea what went on, and I just hope she isnt expecting me to appear at some place or time, and thus due to misunderstanding be sorely let down.
Damn communication barriers, and my 'when all else fails smile and nod' defense.
Hmm I miss Hunter Thompson
