Just returned from the business trip over east. Flew in late last night, after a week of hard training, work, and drinking. But I feel better for it, I developep some good contacts australia and new zealand wide, and strengthened the network I already had. I gained a lot more vision, focus, and determination for my job as well, so I might actually make something of myself one day, but don't hold your breath. Was a great week, and melbourne is a lovely city. The river is lovely (depsite being upside down), the tram was so convenient, and the beer was cheap.
Found the new Chloe to pine for, an 8-10 foot painting of a nude named chloe, many many years old, and sitting in the lovely bar at Young & Jacksons, with a very tasty beer dedicated to it, the Naked Ale.

I found out today that I will not be moving in to the city for work, til the end of march, an extra month than I had expected. This has its good points and its bad, and I will deal. I just wanna go shopping in the city in my lunchbreak. Ahh well it will help me save at least.
In an UP note I got items from the lovely people at this very site today, my hoodie shirt, buttons, stickers and underpants for my gf. I was so excited. Photo's to come.
I also got some Neon Genesis Evangelion Manga in the mail too, so presents all round.

you can so totally be my Mike Burton. i think you're more him than Warren Cheswick (who is a genius in his own right, but i don't think you could pull off the weedy loser).
laughingsnake has thrown a date up for drinks. let us know what you think. if you don't mind cats (well, my cat) i can offer you a matress or couch if you're keen on the drinking and then not driving back to da 'ham that night.
