Gee its been a while, more than a week two be exact, I have a lot to tell, but I'm not sure yet how to tell it.
And I still owe you all a list of 20 things about me, from ampersand tagged me earlier this week.
So lets kick it off with that.
1. As a child, I almost always spilled a drink at the dinner table, Maybe something like 9 out of 10 dinners involved me knocking a glass over. I still have deep seated psychological trouble as a result. It still gets brought up on the rare occasions now when I do spill a drink, its always a 'just like old times' or a 'thats our wayde'.
2. I stole a fridge from my high school, it was a good fridge, it made it til my 21st birthday when I kicked it over, filled it with ice and used it as an esky.
3. I love first dates and first kisses, but fear relationships.
4. When I was younger I fell from a rather high tree, straight on my back on hard brick paving. My brother called me James Bond for a week. Don't ask me why, James Bond is all suits, and martini's, I wanted to be indiana jones.
5. My favourite thing in the world right now is kendo. I love fighting with shinais, and I justify this under the pretense that if the world continues its entropy, soon swordfighting will be a vital skill.
6. If I could go back to uni and study anything, it would be computer game development, or quantum physics/mechanics.
7. I love Vincent Price movies.
8. Recently I have been making a lot of toasted sandwiches, predominantly they have been filled with peanut butter, honey, and banana... yes all together - TRY IT.
9. I drive a large white van, I call it 'scooby', or my 'vanomobile', i have slept in it on many surf trips, and after many late nights on the turps.
10. I am a middle child, I know thats supposed to mean something, but I have no idea what. I do grind my teeth in my sleep though (should that have been another point?)
11. I have a great deal of trouble getting people to understand my name, most often I get Wayne or Dwayne, and when they do finally come close they spell it Wade, do I look like I'm walking through water.
12. I am considering going to Japan next year, for a year to teach English. Anyone have any advice to help me make this decision?
13. If you google my username, I am the first thing to come up, even though my name technically comes from a tv series, also spelt FuriKuri.
14. I have a bumblebee gobi (a fish) named 'bee' but I no longer get to see it anymore coz it lives at its mummy's house and mummy and daddy don't talk anymore.
15. I have worked many part time jobs, having always worked two jobs through uni. Some of the highlights include, hosting childrens birthday parties dressed as such characters as Obi Wan, Ash from Pokemon, and of course Superman, delivering pizzas for pizza hut, and of course being the pizza and desert chef at a lovely tavern in our southwest.
16. My ipod's name is wadpod.
17. When Macauley Culkin dies in 'My Girl' I tend to cry little a little girl with a skinned knee. Damn those bees.
18. This number is my lucky number, my favourite number, and also my mothers favourite number.
19. I stole several Nietzsche books in my youth as I thought you shouldn't have to pay to be enlightened as to the path to the superman.
20. I've run out of stuff and on that note I am going to bed to watch 2046, because I adore Zhang Ziyi, and that can be my real number 20. she is exquisite, and amazingly talented, if your reading this C A L L M E .
Saw Devil's Rejects today and it kicked ass. Yeah kicked it. Maybe not as good as house of a 1000, but still good ole fasioned VIOLENCE, and with such sweet family touches as ice cream on otis' nose.
I had some dates this week, I fed goats, the dates went well, that is all.
I missed kendo for a work function, boy do I never wanna miss kendo again.
I want the new ipod video, and I want the new I mac, It will replace my tv and dvd player.
Anyway I ate and drank too much so I am having a shower and going to bed.
