So I was at the bar two nights ago sitting around the table with all my roomates. They have this great idea to try and suffocate a candle (in a jar) by covering the lid with their hands palm down. I abstained from this activity...until somebody bet me $20 that I couldn't do it. No sooner were the words out of his mouth then when my hand hit that jar. Of course I put the candle out; that was never in question. Unfortunately I held my hand on there probably 5 or 10 seconds longer than necessary. I now have a blister the size of a nickle in the middle of my palm. We're talking possible 3rd degree burn here. If it scars up, I'm going to have a stigmata mark.
