why is it the ones we want.. never want us. . .
and the ones that want us.. we'll never want?
poetic justice? cruel fate?
********
examples.. there are a few people i have a crush on that seem to have zero interest in me and/or are already involved in a relationship..
or the fact i seemed to ruin a guy's night when he asked me if i was straight.. or the girl that ended up giving me her phone number.. that i have really no intention of calling as i've seen her making out with 4 different guys in the same night...

That's the way love, lust and like works, I'm afraid. It always seems to me that when you want someone, no one you'd want is around to be there with you. On the other hand, when you have no interest in a relationship whatsoever, of any kind, the masses all seem to want a piece of you. It's a sad and cruel thing, but most things in reality are that way.
