well.. today was a better day..

my car was sick.. but only $300 sick so.. that was good.. i guess? but.. that's another paycheck that's gone as soon as i've got it.. (between that and what i normally spend during a two week period.. back to where i was yesterday)

and i just noticed i got paid a day early.. which is odd since tomorrow isn't an american holiday as far as i know.. *shrugs* oh well..

i also decided i'm going to a party in toronto near the end of month.. i realized i kept continually choosing newer people to visit with over them constantly.. and.. that made me think of this video


disposable friends

and.. i realized i was starting to do that.. these people (and among them zarina and heathavoid and others that aren't members here) you all still do.. it's hard to balance old friends with new.. i failed at that act once already after high school.. there are maybe 2 or 3 people from high school that probably still consider me a friend..

but no.. back to good.. starting to download all kinds of dancey club music.. i think i have a good plan.. if i can work out dj-ing at my friends bar on a semi regular basis.. i can use any money i make from that (minus gas driving to and from london and all the coffee i drink) towards buying more clubbish cd's.. making me a better dj.. and so on and so forth until i rule the world!! or.. until at least i get asked to do it on a regular basis.. it was so much fun.. i want like a day to play with the equipment to try my hand at beat matching.. and finding old vinyl to play from/scratch with/etc. as well someday.. but for now.. i'll settle for not fucking p the cross fader as often.. i can go from one side to the other very gently and smoothly.. just.. going the other way it's just like the flip of a switch.. practice makes perfect but i don't have anything to practice with here..

and i'm all stupidly ramblish tonight but.. *shrugs* i just ended up neglecting my livejournal today so all the trivial mundaneness is falling here instead..

and.. also for my better mood today.. i did a bunch of sewing i needed to get done. (fixed up my lock pants with another invisible snap on the fly, fixed the d-rings the locks go on so they can't come off again.. and other stuff no one else cares about..) i also got a bunch of little stuff done on my latest pants i'm making that needed to get done.. all that's left is the last zipper, going over them again to make them workable zippers instead of decorations and to figure out a way to make straps.. (they're vinyl/pleather-ish pants i bought at value village for 6 dollars i've been heavily modifying and tailoring) the strap are perplexing me.. pvc alone i think will be too weak.. and have ahabit of sticking to itself.. i have a couple ideas to do.. so.. i hope to have them done by saturday morning/early afternoonish for saturday afternoon/evening i will finally buy Zim vol 3!!

and.. that's enough outta me for tonight..
